Our field tiling solutions are an easy 5-Step process.
1. Consultation
We will meet with you to discuss your vision about areas that need work, including, standing water, growing weeds and lower yields. Upon request, we will also provide aerial photos of your property using Google Earth to help us identify and understand exactly where your trouble areas are located. When's the last time you looked at your land from the air?
2. GPS Field
Using our rover and Trimble GPS, we will survey your land to establish topography and trouble spots.
3. Design/Presentation
We will provide a custom, unique, tiling design that addresses the needs of your land using our Farm Works Software. Our presentation to you will ensure that our solutions have met your needs. Changes can be made to the design at any time.
4. Installation
We will begin and complete the process of tiling by first having tile delivered directly to your farm. Our first step during installation will be to flag your field. At this point we'll then map out your unique, custom system using our Farm Works software that works directly with our trencher and plow computers. Mains and laterals are then installed. In the case that existing tile is hit, it will be repaired to the best of our abilities to enssure that the existing tile will still be a benefit to you. Existing tile is eliminated only when we do a complete pattern tile system. The chances of discovering existing tile while installing are significantly greater using the trencher rather than the plow (Bron 550).
5. Provide farmer with GPS Map
Upon completion of the project, we will provide you with a GPS map of new tile locations. You are now ready to reap the benefits of a premier field tiling installation by Meier Drainage Services.
